New Cafeteria Plan Regulations are Here!

In the August 6th Federal Register, the IRS released new Proposed Cafeteria Plan Regulations that may change the way your firm handles flex plan administration. Changes have been proposed including limitations on FSA enrollment, new rules for non-discrimination testing, advance reimbursement of orthodontia expenses as well as other important modifications to the regulations.

You can review the Federal Register at http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2007/pdf/E7-14827.pdf. The IRS has requested comments and will be conducting a hearing on the proposed regulations on November 15th, 2007. If the regulations become final, they will be effective for plans beginning on or after January 1st, 2009.

TravisFlex Mini Release

In August ’07, Travis began distributing the latest release of TravisFlex which provides users with a number of new features and more efficient processes.  Some of the new features you will find in this release are:

• Payroll Register-You now have the ability to reprint a Payroll Register whenever you want!
• User Defined Fields have now been added to TravisFlex!
• SmartFlex/TravisFlex FDR File Interface

WebCOBRA Summer ’07 Release!

On August 5th, Travis engineers installed WebCOBRA’s latest release which provides WebCOBRA users with a number of new features and more efficient processes.  Some of the features you will find in this release are:

• Report Subscriptions
• Client/Sponsor ACH Processing
• Payment Schedule
• Invoice Administrative Fees
• Automated QB Payments

TravisBilling (TBILL) Mini Release

In September ’07, Travis began distributing the latest release of TBILL!  There are several new feature requests from you included!  Here are some highlights: 

• Emailing of Letters & Reports
• New macros!
• Unlock all Employer Bills from Admin at once!
• A new type of Search capability
